About Lucy
Lucy’s professional background is in law, forensics, and the safeguarding of vulnerable groups. Having a Trustee with such extensive legal knowledge is a great addition for us. Her Interest in supporting Building Self-Belief as a Trustee has stemmed, and is a continuation of, her recent role in the community campaign Say No to Consett Incinerator, where she played an active role in coordinating and supporting the local community in Consett. She is passionate about social justice and has extensive knowledge of environmental and social issues and as such she can support our work linked to the environment. She has many of the personal and professional qualities that are highly valued in a Trustee. Lucy will be supporting us at a local and national level to ensure our young people get the very best support.
