Building Self-Belief Charity Golf Fundraising Day
Our Charity Golf Fundraising Day was a wonderful success, bringing together a fantastic group of supporters for an enjoyable day of golf, fundraising, and community spirit. Blessed with great weather and a great atmosphere throughout the day, with thanks to Consett and District Golf Club, participants enjoyed friendly competition on the course while helping to raise funds for our charity. It was a pleasure to see so many familiar faces alongside new supporters.We would like to extend a really big thank you to everyone who took part, including our golfers, sponsors, volunteers, and those who generously donated prizes and raffle items. The support, generosity, and enthusiasm helped make the event such a great occasion. Supporting our Young People into University - Our Guide
One key talking point when visiting Newcastle University on our recent trips, was discussing the range of routes and support available to students from varying backgrounds, to ensure that they can still access the opportunities that more privileged students can access. This ranges from reduced grade offers, to financial support whilst at university, to a support network of similar students before they begin university; we have collated this helpful guide of some of these access schemes available in the North East.
