"Stanley’s Football Wish" Poem - South Stanley Junior School
This poem was created by Jamie, Carter and Lewis, Year 6 pupils from South Stanley Junior School as part of our 'Celebrating Stanley' project. The pupils were inspired by the historic FA Cup match where West Stanley FC faced Tottenham Hotspur before a crowd of 35,000, capturing the towns pride, excitement and hope. Though Stanley didn't win, the moment lives on, ending with a modern wish for the town to have a football stadium that reflects its deep love of the game.

Consett Anarchy Sponsored by Building Self-Belief
We are absolutely delighted to be sponsoring Consett Anarchy fooball team. They approached us when they were short of funds to buy a kit and coats, so we stepped up as this is a great way to give something back in support of the local community.
