About Bethany
Bethany is currently studying single honours Psychology at the University of Sunderland. She is completing her final year and as part of this she will be working alongside Building Self-Belief as a work placement to gain relevant work experience. Bethany is particularly interested in the way children develop and how factors such as environmental, social, cultural backgrounds impact developmentally within children. Her aim is to use some of the skills she has learned within the past two years of studying Psychology to help the children improve their self-belief and their general wellbeing. Bethany really values the way in which Building Self Belief helps vulnerable children to build up their self-esteem and confidence and she is looking forward to gaining some valuable insight and hands on experience which she can apply to her future career.
