Hugo Minney PhD FRSA

About Hugo

Hugo Minney PhD is a Chartered Project Professional (ChPP) and Chartered Manager (CMgr), and Level 3 Advanced accredited Social Value Practitioner. His day job is as a benefits management Subject Matter Expert, supporting organisations to achieve their strategic objectives through aligning and prioritising their investment for change, and he’s chair and lead author of the British Standards Institute panel preparing the British Standard on Benefits Management.

Using the framework and process of Social Value, Hugo engages the partners, funders and beneficiaries of each project to clarify and quantify the change, the attribution, and the financial value of the return on investment.

Social Value enables a financial value to be reliably and consistently assigned to some of the soft outcomes of a change, by quantifying the relationship between improved self-esteem with reduced crime and improved job prospects, to pick a common example.
